To reduce the risk of personal injury, discomfort, or property damage, please ensure that each user of your INMO Air3 (the "Product") carefully reads all warnings and instructions before use.

Features and available accessories for your Product may change. Visit inmoxr.com/safety for the most current information. Always read and follow all warnings and instructions provided with any apps, content, or accessories that you use with your Product. Failure to do so may result in personal injury or property damage.

Your Product may not work reliably under all conditions, including when outside factors such as wireless connectivity is compromised. It should not be used for critical or life-saving activities.

Your Product includes the INMO Air3 smart glasses, charging cable, apps, and accessories.

1. General Safety

Age and Fit

Not recommended for use by children under 12 years of age, or if the Product does not fit properly. Not a toy.
Injuries and negative effects, including eye strain and discomfort, may result from use by young children. Adults should supervise any use by children and ensure they follow all warnings and instructions.
See the "Getting the Right Fit" section for guidance on proper fitting.

Seizure Risk

⚠ WARNING — Seizure Warning: Content on the AR display may include flashes of light, moving images, or patterns that may trigger seizures, blackouts, or other symptoms in susceptible individuals.

Immediately stop use and seek medical assistance if you experience severe dizziness, seizures, eye or muscle twitching, loss of awareness, or blackout while using the Product.
Consult a healthcare professional before use if you have previously had a seizure, loss of consciousness, or other symptoms linked to an epileptic condition.

Medical Devices

⚠ WARNING — Medical Device Interference: The Product contains magnets and components that emit electromagnetic fields which could affect the operation of nearby electronics and medical devices, including cardiac pacemakers, hearing aids, and defibrillators.

If you have an implanted or wearable medical device, consult a healthcare professional or the manufacturer of your medical device before using the Product.
Maintain a safe distance between the Product and any implanted medical device.
Stop using the Product immediately if you observe interference with your medical device.
Follow restrictions and instructions in certain places to limit or avoid use of radio-electronic devices (for example, in hospitals, on airplanes, or near sensitive equipment).

2. Display and Vision Safety

Eye Strain and Fatigue

Extended use of the AR display may cause eye strain, headaches, blurred vision, or fatigue. Take regular breaks — at least 15 minutes for every hour of continuous use.
If you experience eye discomfort, blurred vision, or headaches, stop using the Product and rest your eyes. Consult a healthcare professional if symptoms persist.
The Product is not recommended for use by individuals with pre-existing serious eye conditions without first consulting an eye care professional.

Display Brightness

Do not use the Product in conditions where display brightness may impair your vision or awareness, including in very dark environments where the display contrast creates significant adaptation challenges.
Adjust display brightness settings in the INMO app to a comfortable level. Prolonged use at maximum brightness may increase eye fatigue.

Prescription Lenses

The Product is designed to accommodate prescription lens inserts (sold separately). Incorrect prescription lenses may worsen vision problems. Consult an eye care professional before using prescription lens inserts.
Do not use the Product as a substitute for corrective eyewear prescribed by a medical professional.

UV Protection

The Product does not block all UV rays. Do not use it to look directly at the sun or for protection from artificial UV sources such as tanning beds or welding equipment.
For outdoor use in bright sunlight, use the tinted lens attachments (if included) or consult INMO support about compatible sun protection accessories.

3. Situational Awareness and Safe Use

⚠ WARNING — Distraction Warning: Images, notifications, and content shown on the Product's AR display may obscure or reduce your awareness of your surroundings. Never use the Product in situations where reduced awareness may cause injury or death.

Activities Requiring Full Attention

Do NOT use the Product while:

Operating a motor vehicle, motorcycle, bicycle, or any moving vehicle
Crossing roads or navigating traffic
Operating heavy machinery or power tools
Engaging in sports or activities with elevated risk of impact or falls
Caring for children, elderly, or individuals requiring your full attention
Cooking or handling open flames

Driving

Use of the AR display while driving is illegal in many jurisdictions and is strongly discouraged. Even in jurisdictions where it may not be explicitly prohibited, using the display while driving significantly increases accident risk.
If you must use the Product while in a vehicle, use audio-only features and do not focus on the display while the vehicle is in motion.

Low Visibility Conditions

The AR display overlay may reduce contrast perception in low-visibility conditions including night, rain, fog, or bright direct sunlight. Exercise additional caution or avoid use in these conditions.

Physical Safety

The Product must not be used as safety glasses or as protection against mechanical impact, chemical splashes, or other industrial hazards.
Do not wear the Product during activities with an increased risk of impact, falls, or physical contact (e.g., contact sports, construction work, cycling in traffic).

4. Camera, Recording, and Privacy

Do not obstruct or disable the recording indicator LED. Doing so may be illegal in your jurisdiction and violates the Product's intended use guidelines.

Responsible Recording

Always be mindful of others when recording. Stop recording if anyone expresses that they would rather not be filmed.
Do not use the camera in sensitive spaces including, but not limited to: medical facilities, locker rooms, restrooms, schools, or places of worship.
Do not use the Product to capture sensitive personal information such as PIN codes, passwords, or private documents.
Obey all applicable laws regarding photography, video recording, and privacy in your jurisdiction.

Data and Privacy

The Product may process audio, image, and location data as part of its AI features. Review the INMO Privacy Policy at inmoxr.com/privacy for full details on data collection and usage.

5. Battery and Charging Safety

⚠ WARNING — Battery Warning: The Product contains a built-in lithium-ion battery. Improper handling may cause fire, explosion, or chemical burns.

Charging

Only use the authorized magnetic charging cable and charging case provided with the Product or purchased from INMO or authorized retailers. Use of unauthorized charging accessories may damage the Product and void the warranty.
Do not charge the Product in areas with a potentially explosive atmosphere, including areas where flammable vapors, chemicals, or fine particles (dust, grain, metal powders) may be present.
To avoid overheating, keep the Product's electrical charging contacts clean, dry, and free of debris. Regularly check contacts for signs of corrosion or damage. Stop use and contact INMO Support if damage is visible.
Do not charge the Product if it is wet, damaged, or has been dropped.
Charging temperature range: 0°C to 45°C (32°F to 113°F). Do not charge outside this range.

Battery Temperature

The Product may become warm during use and charging. This is normal. However, if the Product becomes uncomfortably hot, stop use immediately and allow it to cool.
Do not expose the Product to extreme heat (above 60°C / 140°F) including direct prolonged sunlight in enclosed spaces such as parked vehicles.
Operating temperature range: 0°C to 45°C (32°F to 113°F).

Battery Damage

Do not drop, disassemble, crush, bend, deform, puncture, shred, or apply excessive pressure to the Product. This can damage the battery and cause fire, explosion, or injury.
Do not attempt to replace the battery yourself. Contact INMO Support for battery service.
If the Product is dropped or damaged, inspect it for visible damage before charging or use. Contact INMO Support if damage is suspected.

6. Wireless Connectivity and Radio Frequency

Bluetooth and Wi-Fi

The Product uses Bluetooth and Wi-Fi radio frequencies. Follow all posted signs and instructions in locations where radio-electronic devices are restricted or prohibited, such as hospitals, aircraft, and fuel stations.
The Product complies with FCC Part 15 rules. Operation is subject to the following conditions: (1) the device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) the device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

7. Physical Product Warnings

Cleaning

Clean lenses with the microfiber cloth included with the Product. Do not use paper towels, tissues, or clothing to clean lenses as these may scratch the lens coating.
Do not use alcohol-based cleaners, acetone, or abrasive cleaners on any part of the Product, including lenses and frames.
For frames and temples, use a soft, slightly damp cloth. Dry immediately after cleaning.

Fit and Comfort

The Product should fit comfortably without significant pressure on the nose, ears, or temples. Prolonged use of an ill-fitting Product may cause discomfort or skin irritation.
Do not bend the frame aggressively to adjust fit. Visit an authorized INMO dealer or contact INMO Support for fit adjustments.
Some individuals may experience skin reactions to frame materials. If you experience skin irritation, redness, or swelling, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.

Damaged Product

Do not use the Product if any part of it is broken, cracked, or visibly damaged. A damaged Product may cause injury.
Contact INMO Support at support@inmoxr.com for repair options. Do not attempt to repair the Product yourself.

8. Software, AI Features, and Limitations

AI Translation and Accuracy

The real-time translation feature is designed to assist communication and is not a substitute for professional translation in legal, medical, or other critical settings. Translation accuracy may vary by language pair, speaker accent, background noise, and connection quality.
Do not rely solely on AI translation for situations where accuracy is critical to safety or legal outcomes.

Software Updates

Keep the Product's firmware and companion app updated to the latest version. Software updates may include important safety fixes. Update instructions are available in the INMO app.
Do not interrupt firmware updates once started. Doing so may cause the Product to malfunction.

9. Regulatory and Compliance Information

Regulatory compliance marks are located on the Product, product packaging, and the user manual.

FCC Compliance (United States)

This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:

This device may not cause harmful interference.
This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

The SAR limit of USA (FCC) is 1.6 W/kg averaged over one gram of tissue. Device types: INMO AIR3 (FCC ID: 2BP9S-IMA301) has also been tested against this SAR limit. The highest SAR value reported under this standard during product certification for when properly worn on the body and close to the head is 0.41W/kg. This device was tested for typical body-worn operations with the back of the handset kept 0mm from the body. To maintain compliance with FCC RF exposure requirements, use accessories that maintain a 0mm separation distance between the user's body and the back of the handset. The use of belt clips, holsters and similar accessories should not contain metallic components in its assembly. The use of accessories that do not satisfy these requirements may not comply with FCC RF exposure requirements, and should be avoided.

This device was tested for typical body-worn operations. To comply with RF exposure requirements, a minimum separation distance of 0mm must be maintained between the user's body and the handset, including the antenna. Third-party belt-clips, holsters, and similar accessories used by this device should not contain any metallic components. Body-worn accessories that do not meet these requirements may not comply with RF exposure requirements and should be avoided. Use only the supplied or approved.

NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by INMo XR Inc. could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.

CE Marking (European Union)

The Product is compliant with applicable EU directives including the Radio Equipment Directive (RED) 2014/53/EU and the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive.
